Nat and her family

This is a friend/photographer that was in town and hired me to do pictures for her website and of her beautiful little family. My cousin Erica assisted me in the session and we were planning the kidnapping of Mr. P. Of course we told the parents the plan which wouldn't have gotten us very far. I could eat him up!

O so sweet

This is my friend Mary's baby "D". He is so sweet and such a good baby! I love how all her children look exactly like the others. 

Little Violin

While the families got ready for the reception for the wedding below I was admiring the beautiful landscape at the home when I encountered this little guy... it was then that I started to play my little winey poor me violin... once upon a time I owned the 50mm 1.4 lens and 3 macro fabulous little filters. My lens got stolen and though I still have my filters I have not been ablt to replace my fab lens that would have been perfect for these pictures. Oh well...I tried!

Rain Rain Go Away

I think it is fair to say no one was expecting yesterdays weather. This fun and easy going couple got married at the Draper temple (high up in the mountain), it was raining but not enough for cool raining shots, and it was cold and windy. None of us were physically prepared for November/December weather.  We all agreed we would cheat the weather and finish our pictures next week. In the afternoon however it was warm and sunny and we got about 700+ reception shots at the beautiful backyard it was held in. I love this family and was so happy to get to know Rachael's amazing family as well...

Twins!

These twin girls were SO SWEET! Logan who was supposed to be taking his nap (sigh) was so very excited and in shock that there were TWO BABIES. He kept saying the twin I mostly held was HIS. LOL They did so good considering a lot of wardrobe changes that included being naked and wearing tutu's. ahahahaha Wait til they have to wear heals! 

My soul as a wild flower

I truly think my soul in another life was a wild flower. They are my favorite flowers other than orchids. Spare me the perfect red roses or tulips for Valentines. Go to a field and grab anything that looks beautiful, colorful, strong, wild... and bring that to me. Wild flowers are deceiving, like this one with it's beautiful purple color that invites you to get a closer look, but once you touch it you will be pricked. 

I am a friendly person, I welcome everyone into my life to be a part of my world but don't get too close because I definitely have my personal space. I love being alone. A quiet Friday evening watching one of my recorded shows or movies, reading a book... away from the computer, phone, work and everyday demands. If someone tries to force themselves into my quiet time they might get pricked. LOL ;)

Silver Lining

This family is my silver lining to a project gone bad. I agreed to shoot a session in which I was not prepared for emotionally, knowledge wise or legally. At the time I thought I would never do photography again and that I was a failure. But a couple years later I realize how much I've grown since and the friendships that were created from that experience. Charlyn has become a friend and one of my best clients. I shot her little brothers wedding and I am excited that they are having baby number two! Charlyn and I do about 3 sessions a year so in the Fall you will see her family again posted. Thank you for having such faith in me (all of you).  :D

Turning One is so much fun

This adorable blue eyed one year old is a friends baby. She was so cute and so loved by her parents (specially daddy ;) I love this age they do not want to stay in one spot or look at the camera but I love the challenge.

This beautiful family is getting sealed in the SLC temple, so instead of adding stress on that date they met up with me this evening for some shots. This little guy was SO good and adorable! Isn't she stunning?!
