One day only offer

Dear clients I extended an offer to my fans of the Remember When By Raquel page on facebook and clients have loved it. The response was overwhelming and fun.  I thought I would do an offer for my blog readers as well. Feel free to share the link with your friends and family if you would like. 

Offer:

$100 - 1/2 hour, 40 images on a high resolution CD with reproduction release, no prints

$200 - 1 hour, 75 images on a high resolution CD with reproduction release, no prints

$350 - 1 hour (or how ever long it takes), 100 images on a high resolution CD with reproduction release, 1 16x20

Session Details

. It would be great if you sign up to follow the blog because I will be extending other offers like these and print offers right before Christmas and through out the year of 2010. There will be a time limit on the response and I don't want you to miss out!

. Each session offer is for up to 3 people, to add an additional person its $15.00 per person

. A deposit of 50% of the offer will have to be paid through cash, check or paypal.

. You must email me by tomorrow at 10 am with your name, contact #, session offer you are interested in. You can email me through my website contact page. 

. You do not have a time frame to use the session, but you must contact me by tomorrow to receive this special price. 

. You may use any of these offers to give as a Christmas gift , I have designed a Gift Card I will give you in an envelope that is very nicely presented for a Birthday or Christmas gift. I have attached a sample of one of the cards above. Gift cards must be paid in full when you pick up.

Cold day for family pictures

Wow, yesterday was so cold in AF. We could not believe that wind! But this family was so easy going and o so very sweet, specially Wilma... now her husband... ahah kidding. He had me laughing and brought out the sassy in me for sure.

Too funny

I had a blast taking pictures of this family after the storm kicked me out of the Provo Canyon. The men cracked me up! This is why there is the fabulous pose shot ... you know which one ;)

These are friends whom I have taken their pictures for many years now (thank you!) and though we got POURED on in the mountains this weekend, I think we got some great shots.

I am so nervous to post these for so many reasons and she knows them all. AHAHAHAHA I love them but I pray she does too. This little one cracks me up!!!

This is another dear friend and her beautiful family. They were so fun and it's always different when you shoot older children families. I always feel like I didn't work hard enough.  LOL Love you girl!

Greene

These are my dear friends of a long time now. I had not seen them in so long (what a friend I AM!) I am in love with their little ones and had a wonderful playdate with them today. We need to do girls night soon!

Another Sweet Elder

This is one of my best friend Naarah and her family. Her younger brother went into the MTC today, on his way to an LDS Mission to Russia. This was a sweet and emotional shoot for this family. I was so touched and will make sure Logan and I keep this elder in our prayers. ;)

Wow...I feel silly

I feel so bad I got so many texts and messages from people who felt like they had used me and that the pensive post was about them.

Please understand I did not mean to offend anyone with that post. It's just an honest post about a personal trial I am having in this I call my business. I genuinely wanted the critique of "this is where you can improve so you are able to be respected" or what ever thoughts you had. The comments written were so insightful and definitely so sweet! 

Please know that I have asked many of you to model for me in projects and I have said "thanks you's to those who have sent an extreme amount of business to me". I do it all with pleasure. I was speaking more about strangers whom I've never met. Hard to explain with my foot in my mouth. ahahaha

One of my dear clients who was worried let me know that earlier this week she went to UV Magazine and voted for me as photographer of the year. I was in SHOCK. Pure shock. She doesn't know what that meant to me. Specially during a time I am so ready to stop shooting for ever. 

I appreciate your kind words of encouragement and all the great advise and suggestions and insight as to why this might be happening in these hard times.  :D

Lizzie, Liz, My Liz - all the names I have called her over the last 11 years of our friendship. Liz and I became quick friends when we met at a BYU singles ward.  She was my date for movies, ward activities and even helped me get one of the best jobs I have ever had. When she moved away I felt like a big sister had left me. When she got married to her hubby I was so happy some smart guy had found her, today I found out he is handsome and has a great voice too.
